As sisters in Alpha Delta Pi, we value enduring memories. We cherish the bond that we have as sisters. We value each and every second that we get to spend together. Each semester, we gather with members of our collegiate community for themed socials, formals, and semi-formals! We also enjoy cheering the Bears to victory at all athletic events. A good time is always had by all!

football

We were so excited to cheer on our Mercer Bears football team this season for their 7-4 season. Sisters travelled near and far to games across the south to cheer on the bears in games against Auburn and Chatanooga. On home game days we could be found on Black Field listening to the tailgate show, playing corn hole, grilling, and mingling with other FSP community members.

Alpha Delta country club: members only

The first official event of the fall semester of the 22-23 school year was country club themed. Not only was this the first event of the semester, but it was also our first event with our new Alpha members (who have since been initiated and are new Delta members!). Everyone was excited to get together at one of our frequented spots near campus, Yollah, where we got to sing karaoke, eat amazing food, and hang out with all of our sisters. We are continuously grateful to Yollah’s hospitality in being an amazing venue for so many of our events!

Semi formal: Fancy clothes and what are those

Our semi-formal for the fall semester of the 22-23 school year was themed “Fancy Clothes and What are Those.” Sisters dressed up in their best semi-formal attire before donning some of the wackiest shoes they could find. A fan favorite was sneakers in a variety of bright colors - some sisters even painted their own pair just for the occasion. We also saw a lot of cowboy boots, slippers, and crocs worn by sisters and dates alike. The event was hosted at Macon Beer Company, and we couldn’t be more grateful for such a wonderful venue.

Cowboys and angels mixer: with kappa alpha order

We had an amazing time at our first mixer of the school year with Mercer’s Kappa Alpha Order. Sisters dressed up in their best cowboy or angel outfit to mingle with everyone at The Society Garden. The evening was well spent getting to know one of our 2022 Homecoming partners and listening to music with sisters.

MALLARD

Mallard was a hit this year! Sisters showed out in their best camo and orange gear after celebrating our newest members being initiated the night before. Everyone had a blast dancing to some hit songs under a pavilion. It was such an honor to host this year’s Mallard at the Alman Brother’s Museum in Macon. The museum was gracious enough to stay open and allow attendees to browse such an important collection and piece of Macon history.

family brunch

We closed out social events for the semester with a family brunch in our recently decorated house! Sisters and their families enjoyed festive music while dining on charcuterie spreads both inside and outside on our patio or front porch.
