Being Director of Philanthropy for Beta Sigma this year has meant the absolute world to me. My favorite part of this position is that I got to be directly involved in raising money for RMHC, and that I got to use my creativity to benefit others. I have seen the real impact of the events I've planned, like ADPasta and Spring Swing, on RMHC and Mercer's campus. The love I have for this chapter has grown tremendously over my time in this position and I am a better person for my experiences.
Being Vice President of Event Management for Beta Sigma has truly been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my college career thus far. I loved being able to bring back a sense of normal social events during my term. The best part about my position was seeing everyone having fun together during the events. That is the main reason I wanted to be VPEM - to give Beta Sigma fun, safe events that bring light to this difficult year and further the ADPi experience. I have also grown so close to the other ladies on exec that I now call my best friends. Stepping away from this job is bittersweet, as I have loved it so much, but I’m so excited to see the next VPEM help our chapter grow! It’s been an honor and experience I will never forget!
My term as Vice President of Finance was a massive challenge, but one I am so proud of myself for having taken. This position places you at the heart of all chapter happenings, meaning that I saw my impact on everything in the chapter. I love the way VPF prompted my growth as an empathetic communicator and that my time on exec expanded my skills as a member of a team. I’ll forever be grateful for the relationships I forged and my development as a person.
