Partnered in 1979, Alpha Delta Pi and the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) are proud to support the simple idea that a child should have a "home away from home" while undergoing serious medical treatment. RMHC believe that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child -- not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal, or where they will lay their head for a night of rest.

Alpha Delta Pi has contributed more than $6 million to this worthwhile organization. The mission of RMHC is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of chapters and through its three core programs: Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles. RMHC also provides funding to other non-profit organizations whose programs focus on children in need.

In addition to donating money to RMHC, many Alpha Delta Pi collegiate chapters and alumnae associations spend their time and energy volunteering at their local Ronald McDonald House. By cooking meals for families, cleaning and repairing areas of the houses, and playing with the children who are staying at Ronald McDonald Houses, we foster a spirit of fraternity not only among our chapter, but among the inhabitants of the Ronald McDonald House. We are fortunate enough to have a Ronald McDonald house in Macon which we get to work with personally.
